  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
  • Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation for the purpose of obtaining products or services under false pretenses.

1.8 Electrical Requirements and Safe Operation

Cryptocurrency mining hardware spans a wide range of power requirements. Voltage and amperage needs vary by product — it is your sole responsibility to verify the correct electrical specifications for your specific unit before operation. Lazy Miners Inc. provides the manufacturer’s specifications on each product listing; if you are unsure, contact us before purchasing.

As a general guide:

  • Home and entry-level miners (including many home GPU rigs and select low-power ASICs) may operate on standard 110V/120V household circuits. Always confirm the specific requirements of your unit in the product documentation.
  • Industrial and high-performance ASIC miners typically require a dedicated 220V/240V circuit with appropriate amperage capacity. These units must not be plugged into a standard 110V outlet under any circumstances.

By purchasing from Lazy Miners Inc., you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • It is your sole responsibility to verify the voltage, amperage, and wiring requirements of your specific unit before connecting or operating it. This information is provided in the product listing and manufacturer documentation.
  • Where specialized electrical infrastructure is required, installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable local electrical codes and safety standards.
  • You must operate all hardware strictly within the manufacturer’s specified voltage and amperage ratings. Connecting a miner to an incompatible power supply — whether too low or too high — may cause permanent equipment damage, fire hazard, or personal injury.
  • The use of voltage converters with any mining hardware purchased from Lazy Miners Inc. is strictly prohibited. Lazy Miners Inc. accepts no liability whatsoever for damage, injury, loss, or warranty void resulting from the use of a voltage converter.

Lazy Miners Inc. is not responsible for any damage to equipment, property, or persons resulting from incorrect power supply, improper electrical installation, use of a voltage converter, or operation outside of manufacturer specifications. By completing your purchase, you accept full responsibility for ensuring your electrical setup is appropriate for the specific hardware you have ordered.

1.9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Lazy Miners Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability in any matter arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.

1.10 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration administered under the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario) before pursuing any court action. Arbitration is a faster and more cost-effective alternative to litigation. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Ontario where necessary to prevent irreparable harm.

1.11 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
