Refund and Returns Policy

At Lazy Miners Inc., we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our Return and Refund Policy carefully before placing an order. Due to the nature of cryptocurrency mining hardware, our policy differs from general retail.

1.1 Order Cancellations

All sales are final at the time of order confirmation. If you wish to cancel an order after it has been confirmed, the following conditions apply:

• A cancellation fee of 20% of the total order value will be charged on all cancellations, regardless of the reason. This includes cancellations due to changes in cryptocurrency market conditions, profitability, exchange rates, or personal circumstances.
• Cancellations must be requested by contacting us at info@lazyminers.com as soon as possible. We will make every effort to stop the order before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been processed or handed to a carrier.
• If an order has already been dispatched at the time the cancellation request is received, the cancellation cannot be processed. The customer must instead follow the return procedure outlined in Section 3.3 once the item is delivered, subject to the 14-day return window and applicable restocking fee.
• Approved cancellation refunds will be processed minus the 20% cancellation fee, returned via the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

By placing an order with Lazy Miners Inc., you acknowledge and accept that the 20% cancellation fee is a reasonable estimate of the costs and losses incurred by Lazy Miners Inc. upon cancellation, including payment processing fees, inventory holding, and administrative costs.

1.2 Return Window

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date. Requests received after 14 days will not be accepted, except where a valid warranty claim applies (see Section 1.12).

1.3 Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

• The return request is submitted within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date.
• The item is in its original condition, with all original packaging, accessories, cables, and documentation included.
• The item has not been overclocked, modified, disassembled, or subjectedto environmental damage (water, dust, electrical surge, etc.).
• Proof of purchase (order confirmation number) is provided

Note: Hardware that has been powered on once for initial testing or setup purposes remains eligible for return under this policy, provided all other conditions above are met and the unit shows no signs of damage, heavy use, or modification.

1.4 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return under any circumstances:

• Custom-configured or special-order mining rigs built to your specifications.
• Software licenses, digital downloads, or products with activated serial numbers.
• Items damaged due to improper use, overclocking, electrical issues, physical damage, or unauthorized modifications.
• Items returned without prior RMA approval (unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender).
• Items returned more than 14 days after confirmed delivery.

1.5 Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of 15% of the item’s purchase price will be applied to all approved change-of-mind returns (i.e., returns where the item is not defective or incorrectly shipped). This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and inventory handling. No restocking fee is charged on returns for defective or incorrectly shipped items.

1.6 Warranty Coverage

Lazy Miners Inc. offers the following warranty coverage on new hardware. Warranty periods vary by product category:

• Industrial miners (high-performance ASICs and commercial-grade hardware): 6-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship.
• Home and lottery miners (entry-level ASICs, home GPU rigs, and consumer-grade hardware): 90-day warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship, provided the unit has not been modified, overclocked, or operated outside of manufacturer specifications.
• Used hardware (all categories): 7-day Dead on Arrival (DOA) warranty from the date of delivery. If a used unit fails to power on or function as described upon first use, contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.

Warranty coverage is void and will not apply in any of the following circumstances: overclocking beyond manufacturer specifications, unauthorized modifications or disassembly, inadequate or incompatible power supply, physical damage, water or dust ingress, or any other operation outside of the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines. If you are unsure whether your unit qualifies as an industrial or home/lottery miner, please contact us at info@lazyminers.com before purchase.

 

1.7 Defective or Damaged on Arrival

If your item arrives visibly damaged or is defectiveon first use, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@lazyminers.com with your order number and clear photographs of the defect or damage. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

1.8 How to Initiate a Return

To start a return:

• Email info@lazyminers.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
• Our team will review your request and, if approved, provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions within 7 business days.
• Do not ship any item back without a valid RMA number —unauthorized returns will be refused at our facility.
• Pack the item securely in its original packaging and write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the parcel.
• We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method. Lazy Miners Inc. is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

1.9 Return Shipping Costs

• If the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defectiveor DOA product), we will cover return shipping costs in full.
• For all other returns (change of mind, buyer’s remorse), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs in addition to the 15% restocking fee.

1.10 Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5 business days of receipt. Approved refunds are processed as follows:

• Orders paid by credit or debit card via Square: refunds are issued back to the original card within 2-7 business days. Please note that Square processes refunds up to a maximum of CAD $1,300 per order. For orders exceeding this amount, the portion above CAD $1,300 will be refunded via the same method used for that portion of the payment (wire transfer, e-transfer, or cryptocurrency —see below).
• Orders paid by wire transfer or e-transfer: refunds will be issued by the same method within 5-10 business days of refund approval. Please ensure your banking details are accurate when submitting your return request.
• Orders paid in cryptocurrency: refunds will be issued in the equivalent CAD value of the original cryptocurrency payment, converted at the exchange rate at the time of the original transaction, returned to the wallet address provided. Lazy Miners Inc. is not responsible for fluctuations in cryptocurrency value between the time of purchase and the time of refund.

Lazy Miners Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or cryptocurrency networks once a refund has been initiated on our end.

1.11 Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to swap a product, please initiate a return for the original item (subject to this policy) and place a new order for the desired product.

1.12 Warranty Claims Beyond the Return Window

If your new hardware develops a defect after the 14-day return window but within the applicable warranty period (90 days for home and lottery miners; 6 months for industrial miners — see Section 3.6), please contact us at info@lazyminers.com with a description of the issue and supporting photos or video. We will work with you and the manufacturer to arrange a repair, replacement, or store credit as appropriate. Warranty claims do not entitle the customer to a cash refund after the 14-day return window has passed.
